Walk via Sessingham, Upper Dicker (L), Michelham Priory, Bates Green (T), Arlington, Berwick.

Notes: Trains arrive from Brighton at 9:43 and from Eastbourne at 9:48. In the grand tradition of the Pathfinders, we are stopping at Bates Green for afternoon tea, cost £3.50 per head; money will be collected at start of walk.

Sunday, May 1: Meet at 10am at Kithurst Hill car park (off Storrington to Amberley road). Circular walk into the heart of the South Downs to Lee Farm up above Storrington. Free, just turn-up. Well behaved dogs welcome. 4 ½ miles.

Tuesday, May 3: Meet at 10am in Kings Head car park, Rudgwick. Flat circular walk including Sussex Border Path. Bluebells galore. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 5 ½ miles.

Wednesday, May 4: Meet at 10.30 am at the Bax Castle, Two Mile Ash Road (near Christ’s Hospital School). Circular walk, some stiles and modest climbs, over farmland and through woods. Free, just turn-up. No dogs. 4 miles.

Thursday, May 5: Meet at 10am in National Trust car park, Ranmore Common Road, (TQ 141503) £2.50 parking for non-NT members. Circular walk, some hills, on woodland and farm tracks around Polesden Lacey Estate, good views, superb bluebells. Free, just turn-up. 4 ¾ miles.

Friday, May 6: Meet at 11am in Cripplegate Lane car park, Southwater Country Park. Flat easy circular walk along bridleways, lanes and the Downs Link. Free, just turn-up. Dogs on leads. 2 ½ miles.
