School's red, white and blue celebration for Queen's 90th
Our Lady Queen of Heaven School, in Hare Lane, Langley Green, was awash with colour on Friday (May 13) – and there was even a cake sale.
Children from St Bernadette’s Class sold their red, white and blue wares to their schoolmates as they learned about the UK’s longest living, longest serving monarch.

Hide AdZoe Gedling, St Anthony’s class teacher said: “The event supported the children’s work, related to British values. We celebrated our school community and how we contribute to a wider society.”
This promises to be an exciting week for the children of Our Lady. On Friday (May 20), they will take part in the school’s annual procession and celebration, followed by a circus show.
