GCSEs: ‘Impressive’ results for Christ’s Hospital pupils

At the independent boarding school south of Horsham 71 per cent of all grades were awarded at A* or A grades, with overall achievement of grades A* - B at 90 per cent.

Three students, Alexander Kowszun, Imogen Muir and James Trickey each gained 11 A* grades, with a further four students, Louis Hall, Zachary Moxon, Esther Sorooshian, and Xavier Voigt-Hill picking up ten A* grades.

37 pupils achieved ten or more A* or A grades, with 38.1 per cent of all grades at A*.

Christ’s Hospital head master, John Franklin, said: “Congratulations to the pupils and teachers for achieving such an impressive set of results.

“Our GCSE pupils now have a solid platform to build on as they start A-level or International Baccalaureate courses in September.

“They have a great future ahead of them and results like these can only boost the opportunity for them to go on to first choice university places and fulfilling careers.”
