She said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won the award for Home Based Business in the South East.

“We are so proud of all our achievements this year and it is truly wonderful to have all our hard work recognised.

“We are extremely passionate about the outdoors and enabling everyone to rediscover and appreciate the world outside their window.”

Winning this award took the total tally to three accolades received by Pied A Terre this year.

In June they won Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday award, and in August they received recognition from Jacqueline Gold, chief executive of Ann Summers, for offering something unique to the outdoor market.

The awards ceremony was held at the Brighton Hilton Metropole, and recognises and rewards women in business all over the country.

Pied A Terre Adventures are now through to the National finals being held in Dorset in November.
