Winter

A CARPET of snow came in the night,Gently, softly, pure and white,The only marks along the path, that show,Is a bird's sweet dance in the snow.

Outside, despite the bitter, biting cold

I marvel as the sun turns all to liquid gold,

This pretty snow covered land, may,

Go soon, but secretely return another day.

Nature and winter have come together

To form this wonderful picture of wintry weather.
