EGG HUNT: To celebrate Easter and the arrival of spring, Garden Pride Garden Centre in West Sussex will be holding free Easter egg hunts from Saturday, April 12, to Monday, April 21, between 11am and 4pm for all the local children to come exploring. There will be six posters of the Easter Bunny located around the store and the children will need to find the posters, make a note of the location and return their form to a member of staff to receive a delicious Easter treat. WEDNESDAY

CATS: Easter Holiday fun at Cats Protection’s National Cat Centre. Event starts at 1.30pm with an Easter Egg hunt around the nature trail at the centre in Chelwood Gate, Sussex. There will be quizzes for children aged 5-10. Children will be able to make Easter bonnets and hats with materials provided or anything they wish to bring from home. Youngsters will have the chance to enter their creations in the charity’s Easter Bonnet Competition at its Car Boot Sale on April 27. Children must be accompanied by an adult and wet weather clothing is advised as the trail can become muddy. In the event of bad weather, all activities will be held indoors.
