Timeless fable looks at the legacy of those who served

In forgotten boxes in an attic, a woman discovers the story of her grandfather, a survivor of the First World War, and his unexpected encounter with a stray dog who knew no boundaries.

A November Day comes to The Capitol, Horsham, on Wednesday, November 5 (7.30pm).

With evocative puppet characters and live music, Thingumajig Theatre presents a timeless fable on war and the miracle of friendship when all else seems lost.

Thingumajig launches this revised version of the piece to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War One.

The play looks at the legacy of people who served in the war and how people remember them. A November Day was originally created in 2008 in association with The Imperial War Museum North.
