Spokeswoman Lorraine McGregor said: “That Hawth is absolutely thrilled to announce that we have four incredible musicals coming up as part of the new season. X Factor winner Joe McElderry will be donning the famous coat of many colours in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Feb 2-6). There’s Tell Me On A Sunday (March 17) starring the amazingly-talented Jodie Prenger (I’d Do Anything, and Calamity Jane at The Hawth). We’ll also be welcoming to the stage Duncan James in the wildly-contagious, insanely-euphoric Priscilla Queen of the Desert (April 18-23) and completing the line-up is Chicago (May 30 – June 4) with a triple bill of talent in the form of Hayley Tamaddon (Coronation Street) as Roxie Hart, John Partridge (EastEnders) as Billy Flynn and Sam Bailey (X Factor winner) as Mama Morten.

“Dance fans will also have the chance to see some famous faces live on stage when the nation’s favourite Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace perform their most moving show yet. The Last Tango (Feb 22-27) will be the pair’s final theatre tour and an evening of dance not to be missed. Later in the season the breathtaking, high-octane, spectacular, Tap Factory (April 25) returns to The Hawth to wow audiences once again. If you can’t wait until the new season for your dance fix, then don’t miss Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet with Giselle (Jan 18) and The Nutcracker (Jan 19) in January.”

Lorraine added: “Comedy has become a huge draw for the crowds who flock to The Hawth knowing they’ll get the best names around, as well as the chance to see new talent before they hit the big time. This season sees John Robbins (Feb 13), Stuart Goldsmith (March 22) and Richard Herring (April 23) in the Studio plus Omid Djalili (April 15) and Julian Clary (May 6) in the theatre.

“Music is a big part of any season at The Hawth and the spring is no exception. The Country Superstar Experience (Feb 10) features tributes to Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and many more. Simply the Best Divas! (Feb 14) stars X Factors Amelia Lily and West End Niki Evans along with a cast of 16 performing the songs of divas including Adele, Beyonce, Madonna and Kylie.

“If 1960 is your era then you can look forward the original Britpop band The Hollies and the return of the Solid Silver ’60s Show (April 12). Perhaps the big band sound is more to your taste? If so the Gordon Campbell Big Band’s (April 10) performance of the music of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw and Harry James is the perfect afternoon out.

“Fans of The Hawth’s Classical Series can look forward to three more concerts with the Armonico Consort’s Dido and Aeneas (Feb 20) and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (April 16) showcasing the works of Wagner, Rodrigo and Beethoven. In May, Moscow State Symphony (May 10) will be back with music from three favourite Russian composers – Shostakovich, Prokofiev and Rachmaninov.

CBeebies arts and crafts hero Mr Maker and The Shapes (Feb 17) will be live on stage and Moscow State Circus (March 7), the most famous circus on earth, come back to the UK with their greatest performance to date.

“As always there are fantastic films, live screenings and exhibitions to look forward to in the Curzon Cinema. Keep up to date with the latest news and events at www.hawth.co.uk and on Facebook and Twitter.”
