Elgar, Tchaikovsky and Handel performed for Haywards Heath charity

The Haywards Heath Action for Children Support Group is organising a Concert for a Winter's Afternoon.

The event takes place on Saturday, January 9, at Haywards Heath Methodist Church, Perrymount Road (3pm).

Everyone is invited to enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music from Richard Sutcliffe on violin and Phillip Sear on piano.

The concert will include Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata, as well as works by Elgar, Tchaikovsky and Handel.

Richard is the leader of the Burgess Hill Concert Orchestra. He plays in several orchestras as well as leading the Ashdown String Quartet. Phillip is accompanist to the Burgess Hill Choral Society and Mid Sussex Choir.

Admission is free, but donations to the work of Action for Children will be appreciated on the day.
