John O’Connor returned to Malthouse Lane in Hurstpierpoint on Tuesday (February 4) nearly seven years after Zach, a back-seat passenger in a car. lost his life in an accident.

After another crash on the lane that resulted in a fatality last December, John told the Middy: “I’m not saying that a lower speed limit on Malthouse Lane would have prevented Zach’s death but perhaps it might have.”

John is campaigning with Caroline Arnold and others for a 40mph limit and they want West Sussex County Council to issue a Traffic Regulation Order as soon as posible.
