THERE'S something very human about a steam train, reckons Michael Welch.
Of course there's something very romantic about the fact that by putting fire and water together you make power.
But about the engine itself,there is very definitely something human.
"The steam locomotive is something you have to treat very carefully," he says "if you don't build up the fire in the right way, you won't get very far."
