GRACIE Fields, John Gielgud, Edith Evans, Peggy Ashcroft, Jack Hawkins- all names to conjure with.
And all names which have graced the playbills-and therefore also the stage- of Brighton's Theatre Royal, a theatre this year celebratin g its bicentenary.

It's a venue which has seen its fair share of the greats down the yhears, as the playbills testify- each a piece of theatre history in itself.

As part of its celebrations, the theatre has brought out a 200th Anniversary Playbills Book, charting the venue's rise from its early days to present era.
