PLANS to build a new sports and social club in Pulborough were launched this week.
The ambitious project will improve facilities for existing sports clubs and create many more sporting opportunities in the village, especially for young people.

The parish council is working with Pulborough's sports and social clubs, community groups, local people and the district and county councils to draw up the plans for the site of the recreation ground and current, outdated club building.

The existing club will be replaced by a modern, well-designed building that will include a new sports hall offering a range of indoor sports, new changing rooms for the village's football and cricket clubs, amenities for girls and women, and a family- friendly social centre.
