Eco-town warning sounded by MP

THE eco-town proposals for Ford would bypass the local planning process that takes into account local opinion, and local knowledge, Bognor MP Nick Gibb warned a packed meeting.
The local process had already concluded that Ford was an unsuitable place for an eco-town, he said.

More than 250 residents from Ford, Yapton, Climping, Walberton, Barnham, Arundel and other neighbouring towns and villages, along with Nick Herbert, MP for Arundel and South Downs, were at the meeting in Yapton and Ford village hall on Friday evening.
