THE police helicopter used night vision cameras in a dramatic search after a burglary in the early hours of Thursday morning outside Henfield.

A police spokesperson said officers arrested a man after an alarm was triggered at Wolseley Builder Center, in Henfield Road, Small Dole, at 1am, on Thursday morning.

The helicopter found another two men and directed officers and a dog to arrest them.

A police spokesperson said: "Three young men from Uxbridge, in London, are in custody, in Crawley, and they are helping police with their investigation."

Surveillance and security at the distribution centre which supplies Build Centers throughout the South East, had been stepped up following recent break-ins and thefts.
