A COUPLE from Horsham have scooped £2.3m after hitting the Lotto jackpot.
Bob and Pat Green, aged 64 and 65 respectively, won £2,349,055 from the draw on Saturday, July 5 with the numbers 2, 22, 26, 28, 30 and 39.

They have been playing The National Lottery since it began in 1994 but have only previously won £10 and £100 and said they could not believe they had now scooped so much.

The couple went public with their win at the South Lodge Hotel in Lower Beeding, with the rain pouring down as they did so - but they should be able to afford a few decent umbrellas now!

There were two winning claims for the top prize of nearly £4.7m.
