A popular live music extravaganza in Rudgwick is making a welcome return after an absence of a year.
The Rudgwick Music Festival (RMF) returns to its original location at Springbok Estate, Sachel Court Road, Alfold, on Saturday August 16, with a stronger line-up than ever.
Headlining the festival on the main stage is rock legend Alvin Stardust who is set to perform at 9.30pm.
He will play many of his international hits, including My Coo Ca Choo, Jealous Mind and Red Dress.
The day-long festival has an impressive line-up of some of the finest local talent, including Willy Austen, Solice, T Slammers, emerging talent Emilee Lucia, the Furious Badgers and the fantastic Surrey Hills Ukulele Big Band.
The Acoustic tent will be in operation all day with a variety of up-and-coming talent.
Run purely on a non-profit basis, all proceeds go to its nominated charities – The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy, Care Ashore at Springbok Home, and the local Scout group.
