Crawley rose to the top of the Sussex Intermediate League with a convincing 34-12 win in the top of the table clash against Hove IV.

Hove pounced for their first of two for the day. This was converted bringing the score back to 13–7 before the half time whistle blew.
In the second half skilful play from flankers Alan Maybank and Nick Goss saw returning scrum half Stephen Wilson break the line.

Wilkinson brought on prop Owen Madelon take the field, allowing Luke Wilson to return to his normal wing spot.
No sooner than the changes had been made than fullback Steve Cochram cut through the defence scoring a magnificent solo try.
Again the conversion was kicked taking the score to 27–7.
Hove slid over for yet another forward’s led try. This however was unconverted taking the score to 27 – 12.
