Horsham snooker update: Oakwood Hill slip-up

Oakwood Hill B missed their chance to go top of Division 1 of the Horsham & District Snooker League after suffering a surprise loss.

With the top two teams out of action, Oakwood went down to a 3-2 defeat at home to lowly Loxwood Sports A.

Elsewhere, fourth placed Roffey GB won 3-2 at home to Warnham E and Roffey C went down 3-2 to Pulborough D.

The status quo remained at the top of Division 2, as leaders Roffey D beat Holbrook Club 3-2 a scoreline repeated by second placed Warnham A against YMCA A.

Bottom side Warnham Rangers lost 1-4 at home to Rudgwick B, although there was a surprise result as Ben Overton’s 22 break helped lead Horsham Club Casuals to a 5-0 whitewash of Barns Green A.

Division 3 saw Jason Day help Horsham Club D to a 3-2 win at Barns Green B with another 21 break. Oakwood Hill C lost 2-3 at home to the improving Rusper Village A and leaders Lowfield Heath won handsomely 4-1 away at Pulborough F.
