Horsham E’s Harry Collins led the way with a sparkling performance in the latest series of fixtures in the Crawley & Horsham Table Tennis League.

Trinity A 6 Horsham C 3

A closely contested match with five going the distance. Good wins for Graham Carter over John Robinson and Joe Comper against Carter. John Robinson came back well to beat Colin Jones in five, Graham Beaney also won in five against Jones.

Foresters C 4 Horsham E 5

Star man for Horsham was Harry Collins, who won all three matches. Chris Vincent weighed in with two good wins.

Horsham Spinners A 3

Horsham B 6

Rory Scott won three with difficulty, saving a match point against Steve Pound and six match points against Dan. Steve,Dan and Mark Collins won two each.

Foresters D 2 Horsham D 7

Another tight match with five matches going to the final set. Glyn Hydes beat Erik Van Mol but lost to Nick Smith, who scored a maximum.

Foresters A 8

Crawley Community B 1

Another convincing win for Foresters with Adam Todd and Wes Harris winning three each. Community’s lone point came from a tight 13-11 win in the fifth by Barrie Gilbert over Mike Robinson.

Crawley Community A 7

Nick Gamblin scored two good wins against Graham Green, nine in the fifth, and Bipin Majithia close in four, only losing to John Callcut deuce in the decider. Dave Steel lost in five to Graham Green.
