Horsham manager Gary Charman was understandably pleased with the 1-0 win against Herne Bay which halted a run of three straight defeats without a goal.
He praised the better team display and criticised referee Dave Sheldrake for making ‘A very poor decision’ in sending-off Byron Napper early in the second half.
Charman revealed: “The main thing was the three points. I said on Tuesday we were playing well individually but not as a team. Today we played extremely well as a team.
“We dug the result out in the end. I didn’t know where the sending-off came from. In my opinion it was a very poor decision.
“It was a very good win for us and now we’re one away from staying in this league.
“The boys will enjoy tonight - I’m extremely pleased with the shift we put in.”
