The Division 1 team enjoyed excellent wins over the Dyke, 5-2 at home, and then Cowdray Park this week to also progress.

The Division 2 side won convincingly against Mannings Heath at home 6.5-0.5. Captain Jenny Frei said: “I cannot praise the team enough for an outstanding effort which means we have won all three of the matches we’ve played so far.”

Well done to Irene Matheson, Linda Atkins, Angela Whittington, Viv Lyons, Christine Knight and Margaret Swatman.

In a friendly match the team of ladies played Cowdray Park at home and won 2 ½ to 1 ½. The team were: Fiona Drew, Jan Brice, Ann Anderson, Jenny Dixon, Julie Lintern, Denise Waller, Marion Hollands and Shirley Vance.
