Joe Comper scored a first ever win against Barrie Gilbert in a tough five setter. Graham Green lost deuce in the fifth to Graham Beaney but followed up with a five set win over Joe. Robin Stace had a good win 9 in the fifth against Beaney.

Foresters A 8-1 Blades B

Colin Jones’ excellent win over Kate Cheer was all Blades had to show for a competitive match, Michael Bridger put up a strong performance.

Crawley A 5-4 Spinners A

The highlight of this match was Rory Scott’s 3-0 win over Mayur Majithia. Paul Carter won his three while Phil Richardson pushed Steve Pound and Marc Burman to five-setters.

Copthorne A 2-7 Blades A

Copthorne gained two hard earned points with both Chris Pullinger and Gary Bristowe beating Erik Van Mol. Gary also pushed George Hazell to five, Steve Barby and George gained full houses.

Foresters B 9-0 Horsham Spinners B

Maximums for Matt Craig, Dan Pound and Mark Collins provided a comfortable win for the team, only resistance put up by Tom Pomej losing 9 on the fifth to Dan.

Foresters D 6-3 Horsham B 6-3

Steve Hoad was man of the match with two excellent wins over Prakash Vasarni and Phil Nicholls,Horsham’s other point was gained by youngster Holly Holder with a comprehensive 4-set win over Jan Collado.

Horsham A 2-7 Foresters C 2-7

Harry Collins gained the two points with great wins over Gerry Pugh and Gary Bonner saving match points.John Clarke won all three for Foresters.
