Crawley Swimming Club based at K2 achieved a number of successes at the Atlantis Christmas Cracker Meet, winning a total medal haul of no fewer than 14 golds, 19 silvers, 11 bronze medals and 82 lifetime best times.

The Crawley Swim Team competed in the annual competition, which was held in Horsham at the end of November, facing tough opposition from around Sussex and surrounding areas.

Crawley competed with courage and produced some outstanding performances and in so doing they managed to accumulate a total of 44 medals, 14 of them being gold.

Five individual first places were won by Owen Peel in the 100m backstroke, 200 IM 100m butterfly, 200m butterfly and 50m butterfly.

Zoe Cawsey and Joe Wollard followed with three wins each, Zoe in the 200m backstroke, 50m back and 50m freestyle and Joe in the 400m freestyle, 400m IM and 200m backstroke. Two wins from Rose Stride and one win from Lilly Turner.
