Some 700 potential stars of the future are expected to descend on Horsham Rugby Club this Sunday for the club’s hugely popular Mini Rugby Festival.
All eyes are on the weather after last week’s West Sussex Festival was cancelled due to the heavy rain, but if it goes ahead, the 35th Horsham Mini Rugby Festival will attract teams from across Surrey and Sussex.
The Festival has a habit of unearthing talent, with current England stars Billy Twelvetrees and Joe Launchbury among those who represented Horsham - while World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson played in the Festival for farnham.
The event will provide the highly popular barbecue, refreshments and raffle with the bar opening at 11am. The car park opens at 9am with matches commencing at 10.30am and the finals being played at 2.30pm.
