Rob in impressive form at Tenterden as Jason shines closer to home

Haywards Heath Harrier Rob Watts returned to racing in Kent at the Tenterden 5 where he grabbed an impressive fourth place in 28:09.

The season continued with a scenic fun run of nine miles hosted by the Henfield Leisure Centre, where there was a great fifth place from Jason Russell, who was followed in ninth by Richard Haynes.

First Harrier lady was Maresa Pitt in 18th with 1:08.47 and Mike Derrick crossed the line 33rd in 1:14.40.

Paul Cousins continued his fine 5K form just off a personal best as he claimed a super second place in the Saturday morning Tilgate Parkrun, while over in Hove at the park run there Mark Davies was 14th in a strong field as Hoss Davies continued his season of major improvements with a new personal best of 26:40.
