A MANAGEMENT restructure has been announced at two Sussex racecourses.
Northern Racing, the parent company of Brighton and Fontwell Park Racecourses, has announced new managers for both venues and an executive director for the South East.
Holly Glover (28) joins Fontwell Park as General Manager after a successful year in the same role at Bath Racecourse, another track owned by Northern Racing.
Holly has been with the company for six years and her previous roles include group commercial manager and senior commercial manager at Chepstow and Hereford Racecourses. Stuart Dorn (33) rejoins Northern Racing as Head of Sales and Operations at Brighton Racecourse. It follows a three year period as a regional director for Rentokil Initial and then general manager with Esporta and Virgin Active Health Clubs.
Stuart was previously events manager at Brighton Racecourse and also commercial manager at Fontwell Park.
Both managers have taken up their positions this month.
Phil Bell (46) currently Executive Director at Fontwell Park, takes up a new role as Executive Director South East working across both racecourses. He will also undertake various Northern Racing sales and PR group projects. Bell has been with the company for 14 years including a six year period as general manager at Brighton Racecourse.
Northern Racing Group managing director Tony Kelly said:”The restructure creates a strong team to tackle the many and varied challenges that face both venues. I am delighted to promote both Holly and Phil – and also welcome back Stuart after three years gaining valuable management experience in other businesses.”
“We have some exciting new initiatives lined-up for the coming year and I’m looking forward to seeing both venues organising exciting race days and also continuing to develop their conference, venue hire and wedding business.”
