More than 4,000 racegoers were at Fontell Park racecourse’s recent Ladies Evening, which was an outstanding success. Good quality racing and live entertainment ensured the event lived up to its usual high standard.

During the meeting, more than 250 women competeed to win the top prize of £2,000 cash for the Best Dressed Lady.

Nadine Hillman (26), who lives in Crawley was the winner. She currently works as a cabin crew member from Gatwick Airport.

Nadine said: “ I can’t believe it. I’m trying to decide what to spend it on, but I think a holiday and a bit of shopping is definitely in order!”

Along with seven races, visitors were treated to a live performance from the Magic of Take That and Robbnie, who kept the crowds dancing after racing.

This Ladies Evening was the first fixture for new General Manager, Tracy Skinner.
