A young Sussex golfer achieved the treble at the Junior Sussex County Autumn Meeting.
Jelina Fernando, playing off a five handicap, missed equalling the ladies course record by one shot at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club when she shot a gross 71 (nett 66) to win the Sussex County Junior Girls Autumn Cup.
That excellent effort earned the Pyecombe member 44 points on the day.
She also won the Sussex County Girls under 18s order of Merit and County Girl under 18s Scratch Aggregate Cup.
Jelina admitted that it had been a hard season with injuries and all the different swing changes but it was nice to shoot 2 under gross to finish off the junior county season in some style.
The 16-year-old also successfully defended her Sussex county under 18s girls championship, and won the Mid-Sussex ladies club championship for a record fourth consecutive year.
