THE first two runners sent out from Peter Winkworth’s Robins Farm Racing Stables at Chiddingfold performed well at the start of the new Flat racing season, setting the yard off to a good start for 2011.
Foxtrot India, a two-year-old colt by Tagule made his winning 14-1 debut in the EBF Maiden race at Goodwood in good style, partnered by local jockey Jim Crowley.
Then the following day, Foxtrot Hotel, a three-year-old gelding by Majestic Missile, was beaten by a head at Salisbury at 20-1 in course record time.
The two horses are owned by the Foxtrot Racing Partnership run by Dan Abraham and their flat horses are all trained by Peter Winkworth and sponsored by Elite Football. They are named by following the NATO phonetic alphabet and started with Foxtrot Alpha, which has won three races, including two last year, for the group.
