Former Hillians star Greg Luer joins Scunthorpe United on loan from Hull City

Former Burgess Hill Town star Greg Luer has joined Scunthorpe United on an initial one-month loan deal.

The Hull striker has played for various non-league clubs throughout his career, including Whitehawk, Eastbourne Borough and Burgess Hill, where he notched 12 goals in 21 appearances.

It was reported earlier today that Luer was on the verge of joining United with the signing now confirmed.

The 21-year-old was signed by Hull City in January 2015 before being loaned out to Port Vale a month later, where he made two substitute appearances.
