Ifield Youth Under-13s won the Mid-Sussex Youth League Division 2 title in impressive style with a 16-game unbeaten run.
There was a challenging summer of rebuilding the squad after relegation, but the management were confident they could mount a title challenge with the addition of some experienced players.
Manager Mark Camps said “The players have earned plenty of plaudits from opposition managers and parents who have been impressed with their passing style of football and sportsmanlike behaviour throughout the season.
“The hard work they have shown in training week in week out really has reaped rewards in what we’ve achieved and how we have won the title.
“I would also like to say a massive thank you to our sponsors “COLAS” for the two brand new kits they provided.”
Sidney Jorge finished as top goalscorer with an impressive tally of 23 with every player including the goalkeeper scoring at least once to cap a fine team effort.
