ALBION defender Connor Goldson believes his side have nothing to fear when they head to high-flying Hull in the Championship this evening.
Steve Bruce’s side have been in fine form of late, winning five of their last six league games. However, Albion have won their last four matches - with Goldson starting all of those matches alongside Lewis Dunk in central defence.
Brighton have travelled to Burnley, Derby and Queens Park Rangers so far this season and not tasted defeat and Goldson sees Hull as just another game.
He said: “We are always confident going into every game. I don’t think that this team ever goes into a game and thinks we are going to be beaten today, like some teams do when you are at the bottom.
“I just think we look forward to going into every single match and we are on a good run right now.
“We all know it’s going to be a tough game but that means our concentration levels need to be up and make sure we are more together. We’ll need to at our best and we know we can come away with a result.”
Goldson has impressed of late as he deputises for injured skipper Gordon Greer.
The defender feels Greer has been a massive help for him settling into the side so well and said: “We all support each other here and Gordon has been great with me in the changing room. He’ll give me advice before games and is always helping and being positive with me. He’s not one to be envious and that’s why he’s captain at this club.”
