Trophy presentation for Burgess Hill Town before Whitstable game

Isthmian League Chairman, Alan Turvey, will be in attendance and hand over the trophy to skipper Darren Budd before kick off against Whitstable.

It is Turvey’s last season as Chairman of the League after 32 years in the position and the Club will be making a presentation to him before kick off.

After the game League Secretary, Kellie Discipline, will present the trophy to be lifted and give out all the players’ medals.

Hillians Officials are urging supporters to gather behind the Clubhouse end goal at the end of the match to celebrate the season and watch the presentations and there will be a ‘Celebration Hour’ in the Bar up to 6:30pm where it will be £2.50 a pint.

Supporters will also get a chance to get a picture with the Trophy and donations for the photo’s will be donated to St Peters & St James Hospice.

The Club were also delighted to announce a rise in attendances of 59% for the season before Saturday’s last game against Whitstable Town.

The Hillians have averaged 370 this season, a massive increase from the 232 average of the season before.

Delighted Hillians General Manager John Rattle was quick to praise the Hillians increasing fan base.

“This season has been special for so many reasons - cup runs, non-league day, improved facilities and a winning team have all been huge factors in the increase in attendances.”

He continued “Everyone at the club have been overwhelmed with how the town has voted with their feet and supported the team at the Green Elephants Stadium this year”. “A special thank you to those fans who have travelled to away games too. We must have had at least 150 supporters at Carshalton FC when we clinched the title - a special day. Hopefully, another big crowd will be here to see us lift the trophy on Saturday.”
