Three Bridges are looking forward to a much better season following manager Paul Faili’s seven new signings.

They are striker Ben Godfrey and central midfielder Jamie Crellin (Peacehaven), left back Matt Whitehead (Hastings), central midfielder John Lansdale (Worthing), goalkeepers Keiron Thorp (Horsham) and Connor O’Hara and centre back Sam McVicar.

Striker Elliott Romain has stepped up to play for Ryman Premier club Lewes.

General manager Simon Wormull said; “We are looking for a top-ten position. With the players Paul has attracted, it shouldn’t be a scrape.”

Bridges host Crawley Town on Monday, July 28 at 7.45pm (doors open 6pm) when they are hoping for a bumper turnout from Reds and Bridges fans alike.

Bridges prepared by thrashing County League club Roffey 7-1 on Saturday.

Wormull said: “John Gregory is putting strong sides out in all games and this is a good chance to see all the new signings playing. The warm weather should make an excellent evening and if we can get 500-600 people here it would be fantastic.”

Entry is £5 for adults while under-16s will get in free.
