Horsham’s Ryman South match at home to Merstham today has been postponed after a morning pitch inspection.

The Gorings Mead surface remains waterlogged and the Hornets have now seen seven of their last scheduled eight matches called off because of the weather.

All the local leagues have again been hit, with the majority of Sussex County League games again postponed following morning pitch inspections.

At the time of this story (11.30am), games involving the following Horsham District first teams were already off: Horsham YMCA, Broadbridge Heath, Loxwood, Billingshurst and Roffey.

However Storrington’s match away at Bexhill and Steyning Town’s game at Seaford Town were still set to go ahead.
