It will be an all-Mid Sussex line-up for the Sussex Intermediate Cup final at HQ on April 16 after Hassocks Reserves and Haywards Heath both won away on Saturday.
Hassocks won 3-2 at East Sussex Premier club Langney Wanderers, while Heath were 1-0 victors at West Sussex club Wittering United.
Laurence Robinson (2) and Neil Kane did the trick for the Robins and for Kane that was his eighth goal in four games.
A Joe Ranson goal after 58 minutes was enough to take Heath through on a poor surface at Wittering.
Manager Simon Corless said: “No disrespect to them but it was comfortable for us as they never posed any real problems for us.
“I didn’t like having to play the long ball but that was the only way on a pitch like that. We spent the first half getting used to the changes that I had to make and the second half getting used to playing Route 1.
“I had a go at my midfield at half time and Joe in particular, so all credit to him for coming up with exactly the right response.”
Heath have five players in the Division 3 rep side playing away to the Kent League and so Saturday’s scheduled league derby at Hurstpierpoint has been postponed.
