LITTLEHAMPTON Town Football Club returned to winning ways in the Southern Combination League Premier Division with an emphatic 5-0 victory over rivals East Preston this afternoon.

Strikes from George Gaskin, Scott Packer, Peter Beadle Dean Janman and a Jacob Atterbury own goal ensured Golds bounced back from their 4-1 league loss at Lancing last time out.

For Littlehampton it was the perfect way for them to end 2015, while defeat for EP leaves them with just a single win so far this campaign as they sit second-bottom in the table.

Golds kick off the new year with a hoke clash with Worthing United on Saturday, with East Preston travelling to Lancing on the same day.

LITTLEHAMPTON: Hendrick; Wiggans, Bates, D.Hand, M.Hand; Packer, Janman, Kempson, Bell; Beadle; Gaskin. Subs: Kilner (Gaskin), Williamson (Beadle), Hutchings (Wiggans), Leggatt, Askew.

EAST PRESTON: Purkiss; Coulson, Smith, Amoo, Atterbury, Hallett, Chikowore, Piner, Munday, Huet, Cockerton. Subs: Gritt (Hallett), Markwick, Ettridge.
