While a multitude of clubs continue to withdraw owing to the increasing costs of playing Sunday morning football, the Fatboys will be sending out a reserves thanks to the generous sponsorship of Keymer & Hassocks Sports & Social Club.

Founded in 2012, the Fatboys finished runners up in Division Five in only their second campaign last time out, earning a double promotion into Division Three for this season along the way while the new side will begin at the bottom of the league structure.

Fatboys CEO Stuart Brown said: “We were oversubscribed for players last year so growing the brand and running a second team this season seemed like the natural progression.”

“It wouldn’t have been possible without the kind sponsorship of Keymer & Hassocks Sports & Social Club, which has allowed us to maximise revenue streams and bring Sunday league football to more people in the Burgess Hill and Hassocks area.”

As well as paying for the second teams entry into the league, the Club have also purchased new kits for both sides which were unveiled in front of an intrigued crowd of regulars at the Sports and Social Club in Adastra Park on Sunday.

The Fatboys are still looking for players for the coming campaign and anybody who would be interested in joining can find out more and contact the management via Facebook.com/HassocksFatboysFC
