Under-Nines 101 Invitation Cup semi-final first leg

Oakwood Youth Red and Maidenbower Colts Red could not be separated after they played out a 2-2 draw in their first leg semi-final Callum Giffin and Jake Carr scored Oakwood’s goals, Matthew Brady and an own goal for Maidenbower.

The second leg will be held this Sunday.

Maidenbower Colts White take a 1-0 walk over win into next week’s second leg semi-final.

Under-10s Red League

Furngate Youth Red with goals from James McHugh and Louis Smith beat Crawley Panthers Red 2-0 and take a four-point lead at the top of the Red League.

Three goals from Jay Popham and one each from Rhys Webber and an own goal gave TD Sports Red a 5-1 win over Hurst Hornets and they remain in second place in the League, Louis Sampson scored for Hornets.

Maidenbower Colts drew 1-1 with Oakwood Youth thanks to a goal by Joel Swart plus an own goal.

Under-10s Blue League

Top of the table team TD Shipley Blue and second placed Ifield Youth played out a fascinating 0-0 draw so TD remain six points clear of Ifield with four games to play.

Oakwood Youth Black gained an excellent a 4-1 win against MSB Gold with two goals each from Lewis Georgiou and Connor Harrison.

A Ben Sanderson goal was the only score during Perrywood Cougars 1-0 win over Maidenbower Colts Black.

Furngate Blue and Crawley United also drew 0-0.
