Crawley Town have signed former Watford youngster Bobson Bawling on a one-year contract.
He impressed during their recent pre-season games against Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion and scored a great goal against Oakwood.
Bobson, 18, becomes the fourth trialist to join the club following in the footsteps of Lewis Young, Dean Leacock and Emmett O’Connor.
Originally with Championship club Watford who let him go at the end of last season.
Manager John Gregory said: “I’ve been really impressed with Bobson since he came here. He’s a wonderful athlete, has got a terrific attitude and a lot of talent. He can play in a variety of positions and it’s a credit to him that he has put behind the disappointment of being released by Watford to earn himself a contract here.”
Bobson said: “I’m thrilled to be a Crawley Town player. This is a big chance for me and one I am going to take.
“I feel I have a lot to offer the Gaffer and my team-mates and I’m desperate to repay the faith both he and the club have shown in me and to also show the Crawley fans what I can offer.”
