Ifield bowed out of the National Village Cup in the third round at the hands of Findon on Sunday.

After winning the toss, Findon made early in-roads as Ifield looked in trouble at 8-3.

Findon continued to take wickets regularly and only Vish Patel (ten) and Mike Neale (11) reached double figures as Ifield were dismissed for just 58.

Graham Manser ended the innings with 4-16 from six overs.

Toby Kingsbury took three wickets, while Iago claimed two.

Findon’s response started well as Bradley Bridson crashed a six off the bowling of Rushil Patel.

However he was bowled the very next ball for seven to leave his side 7-1.

Kingsbury (33) and John Rogers shared a second-wicket stand of 44 to leave Findon needing just seven runs to win.

Felix Jordan then came in and hit the winning runs as Findon reached 59 for two in just 7.2 overs.
