Cuckfield's Kiwi overseas signing Jeet Raval hit a half century in the First Test between New Zealand and South Africa in Dunedin.
The left handed opening bat hit 52 as New Zealand finished on 177-3 in reply to South Africa's 308 all out.
Raval put on 102 for the second wicket with Kane Williamson - the highest ever second wicket stand for New Zealand in Test against South Africa.
He lost his wicket to former Cuckfield overseas Keshav Maharaj, who finished the day with 2-57. This was his second half century in eight Test innings.
Cuckfield recently announced the signing of Raval as their overseas for 2017 along with local stars Abi Sakande and Joe Ludlow.
