Snow update: Local sport devastated
JPCO The Broadfield Stadium pitch on Friday morning
The entire football programme in Sussex has been wiped out by yesterday’s snow, with rugby and hockey also suffering a whiteout.
Every match in the Sussex County Football League is off and the West Sussex Football League is also thought to have been wiped out by the weather conditions.
All of Horsham Rugby Club’s matches are off, as well as Pulborough’s RUFC’s in London South East 3.
Meanwhile, the Sussex Schools Cross Country Championships, due to be held in Bexhill, are also off, and all Horsham Hockey Club’s fixtures have been cancelled too.
Is your match off? Let us know, e-mail ct.sport@sussexnewspapers or allan.norbury@sussexnewspapers.co.uk, or you can tweet us on @wscountytimes or @sport_sussex using the #wsctsnow hashtag.
