Horsham FC’s top goalscorer this season Billy Medlock got off to a flyer on his debut for Ryman league and Sussex rvials Worthing.
Medlock joined the Rebels from Horsham after hitting 11 goals for the Hornets, but left after difficulties in travelling to Horsham.
Medlock admitted that his debut could not have gone any better after a hat trick in a 4-1 win against Corinthian Casuals. he said: “Obviously, joining Worthing was a bit late in the day. It didn’t all come through until Friday evening but it just couldn’t have gone any better on Saturday.
“We had a bit of a slow start and were a goal down but I scored my first goal, the second was a penalty and then I wrapped up the hat-trick. It was great, but scoring goals is what I am here for.”
