WORTHING Sailing Club is holding a free taster day at its clubhouse on West Worthing seafront on Saturday. The event, which will run from 10am to 4pm, is designed to show just how much fun there is to be had on (and off) the water.
For anyone wanting to try their hand at sailing why not have a go in a racing catamaran, aided by the club's experienced helmsmen? LaserPerformance will be bringing their demonstration fleet of Bugs for all to try.

Or learn the basic trapeze technique on a land-based simulator.
The clubhouse will be open throughout the day, and visitors are welcome to buy a drink, and watch the action from the terrace.

Everyone welcome – from experienced sailors to complete novices. Just remember to bring along a wetsuit, if you have one, or old clothes and trainers you don't mind getting wet. A limited number of wetsuits and boots, as well as buoyancy aids, will be available on the day.

For further information check out the website at worthingsailingclub.co.uk, or call John on 07715 750 274.
