Windlesham House School Golf Tournament

WINDLESHSAM house school held its 9th Open Golf tournament recently in glorious whether, with scores to match.
Children from the age of 6-13 travelled form all over the South of England to play on the beautiful 8 hole Windlesham course near Washington.


Whitgift School won the Under 13 team title with a record breaking 61 points 6 better than Cranligh who were on 54 Points.


The individual under 13 went to George Mullins (Whitgift) with 32 points just one off the Corse record and 3 point ahead of fellow partner Joe Carmody Firth.


The under 11 team went to Hurstpirepoint totalling 54 points the individual was gained by Bryce Cambell (Whitgift) who in a tie won on the last 3 holes from Jack Troak (Hurstpierpoint)



The best girl went to local Penelope Brown from Hill barn with 24 points closley followed by Lily Margarolli Windelsham with 22 points.
Professinal Jane Denman quoted this is the best year for the quality of golf in every aspect, the future of golf for young golfers is encouraging and long may it continue.


Windlesham is looking to hold competitions throughout the summer for young golfers if interested please contact jane@gardencottagenursery.com age 5-13 years old.
