THE highly successful Year 11 Netball team at Our Lady of Sion school,Worthing, recently played their final match together.
Next year some of the team will leave Sion and continue with their 6th form education elsewhere.

Since Year 7 they have always been placed in the top two schools in Sussex. They have reached the South Region Tournament three times and the National Championships once. A tremendous achievement.

Many of the girls have been selected for satellite training and County Academy coaching. Georgina Thow was selected to play for 'Team South' and England Development training. Rebecca Guttridge will attend a trial later in the year.

This commitment to the game has helped them achieve their goals. The school is extremely proud of them and wishes them all well in the future.

Haylee Cawdell (captain)
Georgina Thow (vice-captain)
Rebecca Guttridge
Myffy Cairns
