New cricket kit for team

A CRICKET club in Newdigate will be whiter than white when its team next take to the field. It has received a new team kit, thanks to a £250 donation by EDF Energy Networks.
The energy firm donated the money to Newdigate Cricket Club after employee Craig Jones applied for a grant, as part of the company's Team Sport Award scheme. The club's old kit had been in use for years and needed replacing.


Craig Jones (24),process improver in the income management department at EDF Energy's Offices in Hazelwick Avenue, Crawley, said: "The money donated by EDF Energy Networks is of great benefit to our club as we are now able to get our Sunday side team looking more professional in a brand new kit.
