ESN to face Lewes in final

EAST Sussex National and Lewes will contest the final of the Sussex Inter-Club Matchplay championship for the PAVit Services Trophy.
The close neighbours go head to head at Copthorne on September 13 when ESN seek a second victory in the event they first won in 2004.
Lewes, beaten finalists in 2002, have never won but morale is high after thrashing West Hove in the semi-final at Pyecombe by a convincing 10.5-1.5 margin.
In the other semi-final at Lewes, East Sussex National knocked out Pyecombe when fielding the strongest team in Sussex. They went through by 8.5-3.5.
